Our Story

There has to be a better way, is the mantra that started everything. And still is today.

Growing hair shouldn't require chemicals in any form or heavy products that require rinsing, caps or extra maintenance steps. I created our Original Formula for personal reasons. My son is a cancer survivor. And as a cancer survivor he's leery of chemicals. Understandable. As his mother, so am I. He's also busy and doesn't like to fuss with his hair. I couldn't find anything on the market that matched his needs. So I decided to see if I could create something. It needed to be backed by research, and put into an easy delivery method.

It took years of research and trial and error but eventually I hit upon a formula that worked. It takes weeks (roughly 6-8) to wait out the growth cycle from follicle to sprig - needless to say healthy hair growth is a long process. But once we saw signs of new growth, using a natural, light weight, easy to use, leave-in product, we felt like we'd landed on the moon. Well, maybe not that extreme. But we felt amazing nonetheless.

From there we've been building on ways to bring about growth and nourished hair. We're also working on a beauty care line, that I use every day, and I am positive things won't stop there. 

Feeling good about how you look shouldn't be a hassle. But it easily becomes one. Whether due to illness, nutrient deficiency or aging, our hair and skin takes a serious hit. Our products help stimulate and support. Without worrisome side effects. Without fuss. Just solid, proven ingredients that are easy to use.

That's the how and why behind Brigs. Which, for those who are curious, is a combination of the French word for strand, Bri, and sprigs - Brigs.
